  Just spoke to a Hina in what was meant to be customer assistance and receive very little.
  I had purchased one of the Crane rowing machines that was faulty due to the rope and handle not retracting into the flywheel case completely by over a foot.
  After speaking to the distributor it was concluded this was faulty and needed to be returned. A pain yet this had to be, however I explained to the woman that this had been much work to assemble and I would like to simply swap the faulty part. She said this was not possible and I needed to return the whole machine. I felt this completely unreasonable, yet she would not listen and had no interest in any suggestion I made with regards to my time and effort. I even suggested a small discount for my trouble and she said that needed to be discussed by me with the store, yet confirmed there was only workers at the store and would not put me in touch with anyone else or inquire for me.
  Is there NO training given to customer service or even a suggestion of the meaning of good will explained to them by their managers. Think about it - what is the chances of me going back to an Aldi store after I make this return if this is how I am treated. If a manager cannot answer that correctly they should not be a manager.
